Im/possibilities of Non/being (2017)
Generative light installation
The quantum vacuum, or the void, cannot be defined as entirely empty space - but there is not anything in there either. It is a spectral realm with a ghostly existence. Virtual particles, as scientists have defined them, do not exist in time and space, but balances on a thin line between being and nonbeing. Constantly on the edge of becoming.
Nothingness is not absence, but the infinite plentitude of openness. A becoming of endless possibilities. (Karen Barad)
